Symposium: The Newspaper in the Golden Age

Op 11 en 12 mei vindt in de Doelenzaal van de UB Amsterdam het symposium The Newspaper in the Golden Age plaats.
Het symposium begint donderdag 11 mei, om 16.00 u, met de presentatie van Arthur der Weduwens monumentale bibliografie Dutch and Flemish Newspapers of the Seventeenth Century, 1618-1700. Vrijdag 12 mei is gewijd aan het onderzoek naar de opkomst van kranten, de Europese nieuwscultuur en de rol van de Lage Landen daarbinnen.
