| Samenvatting | This paper describes data standards work currently in progress to support the deployment of directories of libraries and related organizations in a networked information services environment. Several interconnected directory-related projects are described that are contributing to development of these standards through the implementation of services that address gaps in the Australian resource sharing infrastructure. The relationship between this work and other data modeling initiatives is reviewed and some interesting conclusions drawn.
